Ingredients:
1 pound breakfast sausage
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Break it into crumbles as it cooks.
Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage, stir, and cook for 2 minutes.
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and thickens.
Season with salt and pepper, and remove from heat.
Open the can of biscuits and place them in a greased 9-inch pie dish, forming a single layer.
Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuits.
Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and the gravy bubbles.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
