Elements:

1 cup unsalted butter softened
5 Tbsp granulated sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups finely chopped walnuts, almonds or pecans
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
Mix softened butter with powdered sugar. Add vanilla.
