Carlic Butter Steak Bites ans Mash Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Steak Bites:

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Mashed Potatoes:

2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup milk (or heavy cream for richer mash)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes or until they are fork-tender.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Cover and keep warm.

Cook the Steak Bites:

Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional minute to heat through and coat the steak in the sauce.

Serve:

Plate the mashed potatoes and top with the garlic butter steak bites.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
