Ingredients:
1 loaf of cinnamon swirl bread
3 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Maple syrup, for serving
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Cut the cinnamon swirl bread into bite-sized cubes and place them in the prepared baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes, pressing down gently to ensure all pieces are coated.
Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the mixture.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, then drizzle it over the soaked bread.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving with warm maple syrup.
