Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups frozen tater tots
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
1/4 cup pickles, finely chopped
1/4 cup diced onions
Slider buns or mini burger buns
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange the tater tots on a baking sheet and bake according to the package instructions, typically for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
While the tater tots are baking, in a medium skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined with the beef. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together ketchup and mustard to make the sauce.
Assemble the mini cheeseburgers: Spread a small amount of the ketchup-mustard sauce on the bottom of each slider bun. Top with a spoonful of the cheesy beef mixture, a few diced onions, and a small spoonful of chopped pickles. Place a crispy tater tot on top, then finish with the top bun.
Serve immediately, with extra sauce on the side if desired.
