Cheddar Bacon Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or oil for baking

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
In another dish, beat the eggs.
In a third dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
Dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the cheddar-bacon mixture.
Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
Lightly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
