Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1 cup diced onions
3/4 cup milk
2 large eggs
2 slices of bread, crumbled into fine pieces
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried mustard
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onions, milk, eggs, and crumbled bread. Mix well.
Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried mustard, and dried sage.
Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a lined baking sheet.
Mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup ketchup. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through and golden on top.
