Ingrédients
For the Chicken:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp white pepper
2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
⅔ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup buttermilk
4 tbsp canola oil
For the Gravy:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
⅔ cup low-sodium chicken broth
⅔ cup milk
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 250°F.
Season flour with spices. Dredge chicken in flour, then buttermilk, and again in flour.
Fry chicken in hot oil until golden. Keep warm in the oven.
Make gravy with butter, flour, broth, and milk. Serve over chicken.
