This Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta hits all the right spots! Perfect for a cozy night in!
Ingredients:
8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
1 lb ground beef
6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: chopped pickles and tomatoes for garnish
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Pour in beef broth, heavy cream, ketchup, and mustard. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
Add the cooked pasta and crumbled bacon to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped pickles and tomatoes if desired.
