Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, black pepper, and salt. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
Place the pork chops in the prepared baking dish. Brush both sides of each chop with the brown sugar mixture, making sure they are well coated.
Pour water around the pork chops in the baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and have reached an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Baste the pork chops with the pan juices halfway through baking.
Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with the caramelized sauce from the baking dish.
