Creamy Garlic Butter Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce is creamy and thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
Return chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes:

Serve with pasta, rice, or a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice to the sauce.
