Ingredients:
1 pound chicken tenders
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a shallow dish, combine flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In another shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk.
In a third dish, mix panko breadcrumbs with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
Dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Alternatively, place the breaded tenders on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Remove from heat and drain on paper towels before serving.
