Ingredients:
• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 6 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup chicken broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme
• 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
3. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. Pour in chicken broth, stirring to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
6. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and dried thyme. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
