These Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are the ultimate treat for brunch! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Ingredients:
1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon butter
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Maple syrup, for serving
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into 4 pieces.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip each piece of cinnamon roll into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated, and place it in the skillet.
Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, until the bites are cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle with the provided icing and dust with powdered sugar. Serve with maple syrup.
