Crème Brûlée Cheesecake Bars

A luxurious fusion of two beloved desserts, these Crème Brûlée Cheesecake Bars feature a rich and creamy cheesecake layer topped with a caramelized sugar crust. The perfect indulgence for any occasion!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour until smooth.
Pour the cheesecake batter over the graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set. Let the cheesecake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
Before serving, sprinkle the 1/4 cup sugar evenly over the top of the cheesecake.
Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden and crispy. If you don’t have a torch, broil on high for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
Slice into bars and serve immediately.
