Sesame Ginger Beef Rice Stack
Ingredients:
For the Beef:
1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
For the Rice:
1 cup sushi rice
1 1/2 cups water
For the Toppings:
1/4 cup chopped scallions
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup pickled ginger
Instructions:
Prepare the Rice: Follow the package directions to cook the sushi rice.
Marinate the Beef: Combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic powder, and sesame oil in a bowl. Add the beef slices and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Beef: Either grill or pan-sear the marinated beef until it is thoroughly cooked.
Assemble the Dish: Start with a base of cooked rice on a plate, add a layer of sliced beef, and garnish with scallions, sesame seeds, and pickled ginger.
