Loaded Meat and Cheese Pizza

Ingredients

For the Pizza Dough:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Toppings:
1 pound ground beef (or your choice of meat)
1 cup pepperoni slices (optional)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup chopped lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Pizza Dough

In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Step 2: Prepare the Meat Topping

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat if necessary.
If using pepperoni, add it to the skillet for the last few minutes to warm it up.

Step 3: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

Step 4: Assemble the Pizza

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out to fit a large rectangular baking tray.
Place the rolled dough in the tray and stretch it to the edges.
Spread the cooked ground beef and pepperoni evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle both cheddar and mozzarella cheeses generously on top.

Step 5: Bake the Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Step 6: Add Fresh Toppings

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven.
Top with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and onions.
Drizzle sour cream over the top.
