Pioneer Woman Cheeseburger Pie

Warm, cheesy, and full of beefy goodness, this Cheeseburger Pie is the ultimate comfort food. Think of it like a cheeseburger in casserole form—it’s as simple as it is delicious!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
2 large eggs
Pickle slices (optional for topping)
Ketchup and mustard (optional for serving)

Directions:

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish.

Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 7-9 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Assemble the Pie:
Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly into the prepared pie dish. Sprinkle the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the beef.

Prepare the Batter:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, Bisquick, and eggs until smooth. Pour this mixture over the beef and cheese in the pie dish.

Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Serve:
Let the pie cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Top with pickle slices if desired, and serve with ketchup and mustard on the side for that classic cheeseburger taste.
