Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs

  Ingredients:

– 6 large eggs
– 1/4 cup mayonnaise
– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
– 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
– 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
– 1/4 cup cooked shrimp (small, diced)
– 1 green onion (finely chopped)
– Salt and pepper (to taste)
– Paprika (for garnish)

 Instructions:

1. Start by boiling the eggs. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10-12 minutes.

2. Remove the eggs from the hot water and place them in a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

3. Carefully remove the yolks from the egg halves and place them in a separate bowl.

4. Mash the egg yolks with a fork and add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, diced shrimp, and finely chopped green onion. Mix until well combined.

5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the Cajun seasoning and hot sauce to your desired level of spiciness.

6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves, creating a nice mound.

7. Sprinkle the tops of the deviled eggs with paprika for garnish.

8. Refrigerate your Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs until ready to serve.

Enjoy your flavorful and spicy deviled eggs as a tasty appetizer or snack!
