These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are packed with juicy chicken, melted cheese, and a delicious garlic flavor, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. They’re quick to make and perfect for a satisfying lunch, dinner, or snack!
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Directions:
Cook the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side until they’re cooked through. Remove from the skillet, let them cool slightly, and shred with two forks.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
Combine the Chicken and Sauce:
Return the shredded chicken to the skillet and toss to coat it in the garlic butter sauce. Stir in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese, mixing until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
Assemble the Wraps:
Warm the tortillas slightly in the microwave or in a clean skillet to make them more pliable.
Divide the cheesy garlic chicken mixture among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each one. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
Toast the Wraps (Optional):
For a crispy exterior, heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps in the skillet seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Slice the wraps in half, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and enjoy warm!
