Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

This Philly Cheesesteak Pasta is a creamy, cheesy dish that combines the flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak with comforting pasta. It’s filled with tender beef, sautéed onions, peppers, and topped with gooey provolone cheese. It’s a quick and delicious meal perfect for any night!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (or thinly sliced ribeye steak)
8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or rotini)
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese (or cheese of choice)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Beef:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef (or sliced ribeye) and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Prepare the Sauce:
Add the beef broth and heavy cream to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir and bring to a simmer.
Lower the heat, add 1 cup of shredded provolone cheese, and stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Everything:
Add the cooked pasta and beef back into the skillet. Stir everything together until the pasta is coated with the creamy cheese sauce.
If the sauce seems too thick, you can add a splash of beef broth or cream to loosen it up.

Top with Cheese and Serve:
Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of provolone cheese on top and let it melt.
Garnish with fresh parsley (optional).

Serve Hot:
Dish out the Philly Cheesesteak Pasta into bowls and enjoy! Serve with garlic bread or a simple side salad.

Tips:

Provolone cheese gives that authentic cheesesteak flavor, but you can substitute with mozzarella, cheddar, or American cheese if preferred.
You can also add mushrooms to the sautéed veggies for extra flavor.
For a spicier version, add a few dashes of hot sauce or red pepper flakes.

This Philly Cheesesteak Pasta is the perfect comfort food for cheese and steak lovers! It’s easy to make and bursting with flavor.
