Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs

Get ready to treat yourself to these mouthwatering Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs! These bite-sized delights are filled with all your favorite cheeseburger flavors, wrapped in a golden, flaky crust. They’re perfect for game day, movie night, or anytime you crave a comforting snack!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
1/4 cup diced onions
1/4 cup pickles, diced (optional)
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon ketchup
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease. Add the chopped onions, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Stir in the chopped bacon and mix until combined.

Prepare the Bombs: Flatten each biscuit dough round with your hands or a rolling pin. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough round. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and, if desired, diced pickles.

Seal the Bombs: Fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch to seal. Place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Egg Wash: Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the bombs. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the bombs are golden brown.

Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with additional ketchup or mustard for dipping!
