Homemade Fried Cheese Bites
Ingredients
• Cheese (mozzarella or cheddar cubes)
• Bread crumbs
• 2 eggs, beaten
• Flour
• Salt & pepper, to taste
• Optional: parsley or oregano for extra flavor
Instructions
1. Prep the Cheese: Cut the cheese into bite-sized cubes.
2. Coat in Flour: Lightly coat each cheese cube in flour.
3. Dip in Egg: Dip each floured cheese piece into the beaten eggs.
4. Bread Crumbs: Roll each piece in bread crumbs until fully coated.
5. Fry: Heat oil in a pan. Fry each cheese bite until golden brown (about 1-2 minutes).
6. Drain: Place fried cheese bites on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
7. Serve: Garnish with herbs and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce (marinara, ranch, or honey mustard).
Tips
• Best served warm for that gooey cheese pull!
• Can be made ahead and frozen; just fry straight from the freezer.
