Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo
A rich, creamy Alfredo sauce with a spicy Cajun twist, paired with tender steak and pasta. This flavorful dish is perfect for a cozy dinner or impressing guests at your next meal
Ingrédients
1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite cut), sliced thin
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp Cajun seasoning (more for extra heat)
1 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
2 Season the steak: Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the thinly sliced steak, ensuring it’s coated evenly.
3 Cook the steak: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
4 Make the creamy sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
5 Add cheese and pasta: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
6 Combine the steak: Add the cooked steak back into the skillet and toss to combine with the pasta and sauce.
7 Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra sprinkle of Cajun seasoning for a pop of flavor.
Pro Tip: Add sautéed mushrooms or a squeeze of lemon juice for extra richness and brightness!
