Ingredients:

For the Cheese Ball:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix (dry)

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

For the Coating (optional):

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Blend the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or a sturdy spatula to mix until smooth and creamy.

Add the Flavor: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing mix, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Shape the Ball: Using clean hands, shape the mixture into a round ball. If you’re adding a crunchy coating, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans or walnuts, pressing gently to adhere.

Chill to Set: Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours. This allows the flavors to meld and the ball to firm up.
