Crispy Ritz Cracker Chicken

Ingredients
For the Chicken
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed (Roasted Vegetable flavor suggested for extra zest)
¼ cup milk
1 large egg
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt, to taste
Garlic pepper, to taste
For the Sauce
1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
¼ cup milk
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons butter
Directions
1️⃣ Preheat the Oven
Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
Grease a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Prepare the Chicken
In a shallow bowl, whisk together egg and ¼ cup milk.
In a second bowl, add crushed Ritz crackers.
In a third bowl, place the shredded cheddar cheese.
Season chicken breasts with salt and garlic pepper.
Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, coat it with cheese, and then press into the crushed crackers.
Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking pan.
3️⃣ Bake the Chicken
Bake for 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown (internal temp: 165°F/74°C).
4️⃣ Make the Sauce
While the chicken bakes, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk, whisking until smooth and creamy.
5️⃣ Serve
Plate the crispy chicken and drizzle with the warm sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley or extra cheese, if desired.
