Betty Cheesy Fries Burrito

Get ready for the ultimate indulgence! This Beefy Cheesy Fries Burrito combines seasoned beef, crispy fries, gooey cheese, and all your favorite toppings, wrapped up in a warm tortilla. It’s a flavor-packed meal you won’t forget!

 Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1/4 cup water

2 cups frozen French fries (or homemade)

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup nacho cheese sauce (warmed)

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup shredded lettuce

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)

2 tbsp butter for toasting

 Directions:

1 Cook the beef:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2 Prepare the fries:

Cook the fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.

3 Assemble the burritos:

Lay a tortilla flat and add a layer of ground beef, fries, shredded cheddar, and a drizzle of nacho cheese sauce. Top with diced tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, and jalapeños (if using).

4 Wrap it up:

Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly into a burrito.

5 Toast the burritos:

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down and toast until golden brown, then flip and toast the other side.

6 Serve:

Slice in half and enjoy with salsa, guacamole, or extra nacho cheese for dipping.

Pro Tip: Swap out the fries for tater tots or add crumbled bacon for an extra indulgent twist!
