Chicken Alfredo Pierogi Casserole
Decadent Chicken Alfredo Meets Comforting Pierogi in a Casserole

Ingredients:

2 cups of Alfredo sauce
1 pound of chicken breast, cooked and shredded
1 (16 oz) package of frozen pierogies (preferably onion or cheese-filled)
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shredded chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until fully heated.
Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
Arrange the frozen pierogies in a single layer over the sauce.
Spread the cooked chicken evenly over the pierogies.
Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly covered.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
