Crab Stuffed Garlic Bread Delight

Ingredients:

1 large round bread loaf

2 cups lump crab meat

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)

1/2 cup melted butter

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1/2 small onion (finely chopped)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or your choice of seafood seasoning)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional: grated cheese for topping

 

Instructions:

 

1. Prepare the Bread:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Hollow out the round loaf by cutting a circle at the top and scooping out the bread inside, leaving a thick shell.

 

2. Make the Filling:

In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, melted butter, mayonnaise, minced garlic, onion, parsley, lemon juice, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid breaking the crab meat.

 

3. Stuff the Bread:

Fill the hollowed-out bread loaf with the crab mixture. Pack it in firmly.

 

4. Bake:

Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle cheese on top.

Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the bread is golden and the filling is heated through.

5. Serve:

Allow to cool slightly, then slice or pull apart. Serve warm with a drizzle of melted butter if desired.
