Easy Ham Gravy for Christmas Eve or New Year
Ingredients:
– 2 Tablespoons butter
– 4 Tablespoons cornstarch
– 1 cup ham drippings
– 1 cup low sodium vegetable broth or chicken broth
– 1/2 cup milk
– Black pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In a pan, melt the butter then add cornstarch.
2. Mix well until the cornstarch is brownish.
3. Add ham drippings, broth, and milk.
4. Continue whisking until fully combined and creamy to your desired consistency.
5. Sprinkle some ground black pepper to taste.
