Parmesan Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna

This lasagna is packed with layers of savory ground beef, crispy bacon, creamy garlic sauce, and plenty of gooey cheese—combining two comfort food favorites into one unforgettable dish!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 egg, lightly beaten

2 cups heavy cream

2 tbsp unsalted butter

 Directions:

1 Cook the beef:

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic. Drain excess grease. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the crumbled bacon and set aside.

2 Make the garlic cream sauce:

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.

3 Prepare the ricotta layer:

In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, beaten egg, and a sprinkle of garlic powder until smooth.

4 Assemble the lasagna:

Spread a thin layer of garlic cream sauce at the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Add a layer of cooked lasagna noodles, followed by a portion of the beef and bacon mixture, a layer of ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and a drizzle of garlic cream sauce.

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

5 Bake:

Cover the lasagna with foil and bake in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

6 Serve:

Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

Pro Tip: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic sauce for a slight kick or serve with a side of garlic bread for the ultimate experience!
