Ham and Cheese Sticks – the perfect snack you’ll crave!
Ingredients
2 tubes crescent dough sheets
1 lb. deli-sliced ham
8 cheddar cheese sticks
¼ cup butter, melted
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
½ Tbsp dried minced onion or onion powder
½ Tbsp poppy seeds
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Dough:
Unroll the crescent dough sheets and cut each sheet into 4 rectangles. You should have 8 rectangles in total.
Assemble the Sticks:
Place a slice of ham on each rectangle, folding it to fit if needed. Lay one cheddar cheese stick at the edge of the ham and roll it up tightly in the dough. Seal the edges by pinching the dough together.
Prepare the Butter Topping:
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced onion (or onion powder), and poppy seeds. Stir until well combined.
Brush and Bake:
Place the ham and cheese rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each roll generously with the butter topping.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
Allow the Ham and Cheese Sticks to cool for a few minutes before serving. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or light meal—enjoy every bite!
