Grilled Shrimp Skewers with Garlic Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Shrimp Skewers:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
8 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Shrimp: Thread the shrimp onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
Season the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp skewers with the seasoning mixture to coat evenly.
Grill the Shrimp: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Serve: Serve the grilled shrimp skewers immediately with the garlic butter sauce.
Tips:
You can use any type of shrimp you like for this recipe.
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seasoning.
