1 large onion, sliced
2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
Cooked rice or mashed potatoes for serving
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Steak:
Place the sliced steak at the bottom of your crockpot.
2. Add Vegetables:
Layer the onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, and garlic over the steak.
3. Mix the Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the steak and vegetables.
