Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 (15.25 oz) box of chocolate cake mix
1 box of chocolate instant pudding mix
4 large eggs
1 cup water
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup chocolate chips
1½ cups peanut butter cup pieces (e.g., Reese’s)
1 cup whipped cream
½ cup melted chocolate for topping
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
3. Add Peanut Butter: Gently fold in the creamy peanut butter until it is evenly distributed.
4. Incorporate Chocolate: Add the chocolate chips and peanut butter cup pieces to the batter, mixing gently to ensure they’re evenly spread.
5. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Cool: Let the cake cool completely after removing it from the oven.
7. Decorate: Spread whipped cream evenly over the top of the cake. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the whipped cream in a zigzag pattern, and sprinkle with extra peanut butter cup pieces.
8. Serve: Slice the cake and serve chilled for the best flavor.
Tips:
Feel free to add extra peanut butter or chocolate chips for more richness.
Store the cake in the fridge to keep it fresh and moist.
