Ingredients:
2 boxes Velveeta Shells & Cheese
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
Optional: ¼ cup milk (for extra creaminess)
Instructions:
Cook the Macaroni:
Prepare the Velveeta Shells & Cheese according to the package instructions.
If you prefer a creamier texture, stir in ¼ cup of milk after adding the cheese sauce.
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked.
Drain any excess fat.
Add Taco Seasoning:
Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked ground beef.
Stir to coat the meat evenly, following the seasoning packet’s instructions regarding the addition of water.
Add Rotel:
Pour in the can of Rotel (undrained) and stir to combine.
Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes to meld the flavors.
Combine with Macaroni:
Gently fold the prepared macaroni and cheese into the skillet with the seasoned beef and Rotel mixture.
