Ingredients:

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Prepare Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:
In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of granulated sugar with 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon. Set aside.

Prepare Cream Cheese Filling:
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add ½ cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 large egg.
Mix until well combined and creamy.

Assemble the Bars:
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, stretching to fit and pressing seams together if necessary.
Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer, carefully stretching to fit and pressing seams together.

Add Topping:
Brush the melted butter over the top layer of dough.
Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered dough.

Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheesecake layer is set.

Cool and Serve:
Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish.
Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
