Steak Bites and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
For the Rotini and Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
12 oz rotini pasta
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

– Boil rotini pasta in salted water until al dente (about 10-12 minutes).

– Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

– Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
– Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter.

– Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and medium-rare.

– Add minced garlic and toss for 1 minute until fragrant.

– Remove from the skillet and set aside.
– In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

– Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
– Pour in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, stirring constantly.

– Gradually add Parmesan cheese, whisking until fully melted and creamy.

– Season with salt and pepper to taste.
– Add the cooked rotini to the sauce, tossing to coat well.

– If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.

– Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss gently with the pasta.

– Plate the pasta and steak bites.
– Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
