Ingredients:

For the Dough:

3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup whole milk, warmed
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs, room temperature

For the Filling:

1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10 cookies)
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons black cocoa powder (or regular cocoa powder)

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)

Directions:

Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 ¼ cups of flour, instant yeast, granulated sugar, and salt.
Add the warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until well combined.

Gradually add the remaining flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Prepare the Filling:
In a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, crushed Oreo cookies, and cocoa powder until well combined.

Assemble the Rolls:
Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle approximately 16×12 inches.
Spread the Oreo filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log.
Cut the log into 12 equal slices and place them in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cover the dish and let the rolls rise for an additional 30 minutes.

Bake:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Prepare the Frosting:
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
If needed, add milk to achieve the desired consistency.

Frost and Serve:
Spread the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls.
Garnish with additional crushed Oreo cookies if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy!

These Oreo Cinnamon Rolls are a decadent treat that combines the best of both worlds.
