One-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken & Noodles

This delightful dish combines tender chicken pieces with savory noodles, all enveloped in a sweet and garlicky sauce. It’s a comforting meal that’s both satisfying and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound (450 g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (optional, for a spicy kick)
2 cups chicken broth
8 ounces (225 g) spaghetti or noodles of your choice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions:

Sauté the Chicken:

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Add Garlic:

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Prepare the Sauce:

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sriracha sauce (if using).
Pour this mixture over the cooked chicken and garlic, stirring to combine thoroughly.
Add Broth and Noodles:

Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
Add the spaghetti or noodles, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid.
Cook the Noodles:

Reduce the heat to medium-low and cover the pot.
Allow the noodles to cook according to the package instructions, typically 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
If the mixture becomes too dry, add a bit more chicken broth or water as needed.
