Ham and Cheese Sticks

Ingredients:

10 slices of deli ham
10 slices of cheddar cheese
1 package puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional, for dipping)
1/2 cup marinara sauce (optional, for dipping)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 10 rectangles, large enough to wrap around the ham and cheese.

Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheddar cheese on each rectangle.

Roll up the puff pastry around the ham and cheese, tucking in the edges as you go to seal the filling inside.

Place the ham and cheese sticks seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush each stick with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Potsticker Soup with Mushrooms Bok Choy

Serve warm with Dijon mustard or marinara sauce for dipping.
