Teriyaki Salmon Bowls with Crispy Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
2 cups cooked rice (jasmine or brown)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
For the Teriyaki Sauce:
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
Directions:
1 Make the teriyaki sauce – In a saucepan, mix soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Simmer, then stir in cornstarch slurry to thicken.

3 Pan-sear the salmon – Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon for 3-4 minutes per side, then brush with teriyaki sauce. Let it caramelize.
4 Assemble the bowls – Start with a base of rice, add crispy Brussels sprouts, top with salmon, and drizzle extra teriyaki sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
