  • Million Dollar Lasagna Recipe
    Rich, cheesy, and layered with flavor — this lasagna truly lives up to its name!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 package (8 oz) uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the meat:
    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add sauces:
    Stir in marinara sauce and tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Make the cheese filling:
    In a bowl, combine ricotta, cottage cheese, cream cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella. Mix until smooth.
  5. Assemble the lasagna:
    In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer as follows:

    • 1 cup meat sauce
    • Layer of uncooked noodles
    • Half of cheese mixture
    • More meat sauce
    • Repeat layers, ending with sauce on top.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
    Then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.

Tips:

  • Use oven-ready noodles for faster prep.
  • Add spinach or basil between layers for a fresh touch.
  • Perfect for freezing and meal prep!
