Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can refrigerated crescent dough
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is browned and the onion is soft.
Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and let the flavors blend for another minute.
Cooking time: 8 minutes
Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Step 2: Add the Cheese
Once slightly cooled, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. The warmth from the beef will gently melt the cheese, creating a rich, creamy filling.
Step 3: Prepare the Dough
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
Place one spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly toward the tip.
Assembly time: 5 minutes
Step 4: Brush with Garlic Butter
Place the rollups on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder for that signature buttery garlic flavor.
Brushing time: 2 minutes
Step 5: Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crispy on top.
Baking time: 15 minutes
Step 6: Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm with ketchup, ranch, or garlic aioli for dipping.
Garnish time: 1 minute

Tips for Best Results
- Use freshly shredded cheese — it melts better and gives a creamier texture.
- For extra flavor, mix a little bit of cooked bacon into the beef.
- You can also brush the rollups again with butter right after baking for a glossy, flavorful finish.
- Serve them with dipping sauces like cheese sauce, ranch, or BBQ for variety.
