 Ingredients

For the Peanut Butter Filling

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1½ cups Butterfinger candy bars, finely crushed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional but recommended)

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 2 cups milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (for smooth melting)

 Instructions (Step-by-Step)

1 Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and melted butter. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract if using.

Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing slowly until fully incorporated. The mixture will become thick and dough-like.

Fold in the crushed Butterfinger candy, making sure it’s evenly distributed for maximum crunch in every bite.

2 Shape the Balls

Using a spoon or cookie scoop, roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch). Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Once all the balls are formed, place the tray in the freezer for 20–30 minutes until firm. This helps them keep their shape when dipping.

3 Melt the Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the oil, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring between each until smooth and glossy.

4 Coat the Butterfinger Balls

Remove the chilled balls from the freezer. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely.

Place back onto the parchment paper. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle extra crushed Butterfinger on top if desired.

5 Set & Serve

Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.

Once firm, your Butterfinger Balls are ready to enjoy!
