Whipped Hot Honey Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

For the Chicken Tenders:

1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 large eggs
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Whipped Hot Honey Sauce:

1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken Tenders:

In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
Dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Dip in the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.
Fry the Chicken Tenders:

Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot (around 350°F/175°C), carefully add the breaded chicken tenders. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Transfer the cooked tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Prepare the Whipped Hot Honey Sauce:

In a small saucepan, combine honey and hot sauce. Warm over medium heat until the mixture is heated through and well combined.
In a separate small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter until the butter is melted and the cream is warmed.
Remove from heat and slowly whisk the honey mixture into the cream mixture. For a whipped texture, you can use a hand mixer or stand mixer to whip the sauce until it is slightly thickened and fluffy. If using cayenne pepper, whisk it in for extra heat.
Serve:

Drizzle or dip the crispy chicken tenders in the whipped hot honey sauce. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Tips:
Adjust Heat: Modify the amount of hot sauce and cayenne pepper based on your heat preference.
Make Ahead: You can prepare the sauce ahead of time and reheat gently before serving.
Enjoy these Whipped Hot Honey Chicken Tenders with your favorite sides or as a delicious stand-alone treat!
