Surf and Turf Teriyaki Noodle Delight

Ingredients:

For Teriyaki Sauce:

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
2 tbsp sake or dry white wine
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
For Shrimp and Steak:

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
For Noodles:

8 oz egg noodles or soba noodles
2 tbsp sesame oil
For Garnish:

Green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds

Instructions:

Prepare Teriyaki Sauce: Combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Cook Shrimp and Steak: Season shrimp and steak with salt and pepper. Sauté shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side in 1 tbsp of oil, remove, then repeat with steak.
Prepare Noodles: Cook noodles according to package instructions, then toss with sesame oil.
Assemble and Serve: Toss noodles in teriyaki sauce, top with shrimp and steak, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
