Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
6 strips of bacon (cooked and chopped)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Optional: Pickles, for garnish
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a pie dish.
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook the Bacon:
While the beef is cooking, fry the bacon until crispy. Chop it into bite-sized pieces once cooled.
Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Pie:
Spread the cooked beef evenly into the greased pie dish. Top with the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
Pour the egg mixture over the top, making sure it covers the beef and bacon mixture.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the egg mixture is set and the top is golden and bubbly.
Serve:
Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing. Optional: Garnish with pickles for an extra cheeseburger touch!
