CHICKEN CORDON BLEU STROMBOLI

Ingredients:

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups cooked chicken, thinly sliced or shredded
8 slices deli ham
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (or Gruyère cheese)
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the dough.
Layer the deli ham slices, followed by the shredded chicken, and top with Swiss cheese.

Carefully roll the dough into a log, starting from one of the long edges, tucking in the sides as you go.
Transfer the stromboli onto the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

Brush the top with beaten egg, then drizzle melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Slice, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
