Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (or thinly sliced beef strips)
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella or Gruyère cheese
8 oz egg noodles
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onion and cook until caramelized, about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute. Move the onions and garlic to one side of the skillet.
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then bring to a gentle simmer. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Add the cooked noodles to the beef mixture and stir to combine. Sprinkle cheese on top and cover until the cheese melts, about 3-5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
